Crypto Update: Ethereum Flirts With $700 as Choppy Consolidation Continues

April has been a turning point for crypto. That, of course, is great news. The price appreciation has been led by so called Gen III players.  We are talking about a near doubling in the price of many of 2017 ICOs. Compare that to the 31% bitcoin gain and you can understand why we have been spending so much energy lately on this area.  It seems lots of people want to know which names make sense.

Well, one name that sticks out is Tezos.  Here is why. The ICO raised $232 million just last July.  At the time that was the largest on record. Like many ICOs the price of XTZ shot up to $10.75 by December.  In the ensuing crypto crash, the coin lost 77% falling to just $2.50. That is not far from the performance of its peers.

However, in the April crypto market upswing, where many Gen III prices doubled, XTZ increased only 48%.  Did I use the word only to describe a 48% gain.

As a startup company, Tezos carries higher risk so investors are entitled to a higher return….
