One of India’s leading management education institute, SP Jain School of Global Management has announced the issuance of a blockchain-enabled certificate to its students. This latest initiative to issue blockchain enabled certificate will help to curb the menace of fake certificates.

The institute has issued almost 1,189 blockchain-based certificates which are now live on Ethereum blockchain. The prospective employers or authorities can directly verify the certificates, student’s credential and view student projects without the need to contact the institute.

At the validator’s end, the automated five-step blockchain validation is intuitive and doesn’t require deep technical know-how. The institute said in a statement:

“This will enable the recruiting organisations and other relevant bodies to validate the veracity of the certificates issued to a student.”
