28 Feb Major crypto miners rushing to launch new gear before BTC halving

2020 is expected to be a major year for cryptocurrencies, and so far, they did not disappoint, despite recent price corrections. However, according to analysts, the upcoming Bitcoin halving will lead the crypto sector to heights that were never seen before, which is why every crypto project and business out there is trying to do their best to prepare.
When it comes to crypto mining gear
manufacturers, they also started rushing to prepare for the upcoming surge, but
in their case, it all revolves around rolling out the newest and most advanced
mining gear.
One example is Beijing-based Bitmain, which
had just launched its new AntMiner S19 and S19 Pro models yesterday, February
27th. The new models will boost computing power to 110 terahashes per second,
while the energy cost would increase by 29.5 W/T.
Bitmain’s specifications indicate that the two
new models are the most profitable Bitcoin miners on the market, at least for
the moment. However, MicroBT’s WhatsMiner M30S is not…
