Celebrities, like you or I, are simply humans at the end of the day. That means that they too are subject to FOMO. And over the years, especially as Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have surged, FOMO has influenced celebrities to make a foray into this nascent industry.

Most recently, Landon Cassill, a professional NASCAR driver, recently came out as a crypto lover, sitting down with Anthony Pompliano, a partner at cryptocurrency and blockchain fund operator Morgan Creek Digital, to talk about his experience as a driver and how he has gotten involved in this industry.

While Pompliano didn’t push Cassill about his cryptocurrency ethos, the NASCAR driver, purportedly valued at over $5 million, said that he thinks that Bitcoin is a medium for financial sovereignty.

Cassill is the latest celebrity to have delved down the crypto rabbit hole.
