“Ethereum Funds Recovery for ETH Losers” Has Been Warned as a SCAM!
The Ethereum team took to Twitter to express a scam dubbed, “Ethereum Funds Recovery for ETH Losers” on July 29, 2018. What appears to be a screenshot of a letter has also been enclosed to ensure that those who have received it do not impulsively act upon it.

The letter suggested that supposed Ethereum holders fell victim of a “phishing attack, malware, or remote access hack”, which resulted in the loss of one’s funds. As a compensation for the Ethereum community’s loss, it stated that stolen funds would be returned given that one fills out a form detailing their account information. The letter also states that the necessary action would take place within 2 days’ time.
