Earlier this week, many YouTubers received a notification that the videos they posted were resulting in a breach in the platform’s terms of service.

The reason, as concluded after studying the channels that got this issue, was something strange. It seems only a small number YouTubers that focussed on Bitcoin, Litecoin, and other cryptocurrencies got this issue. It took the video-sharing platform a few days to figure out the mistake it committed and to apologize for it.

Even though all videos have been reinstated, some bloggers and channel operators say that their videos have not been re-uploaded. Many of these people used Twitter to speak up and give themselves a voice as they let out the fact that YouTube may have been ignoring their complaints.

Alex Sanders, the person behind Nugget news (a site about cryptocurrency), said the whole incident was “really scary.”
