Ethereum is now part of the Wirex cryptocurrency application.
London-based cryptocurrency company Wirex said on Tuesday it has added an Ethereum (ETH) wallet to its offering, which comprises both crypto and fiat currencies.
Having ETH on Wirex means users of the application will be able to buy, sell and store the virtual coin. What is more, residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) who have physical Wirex crypto debit cards can convert their ETH into British pounds, euro or US dollars to pay for goods and services both online and in shops, bars, restaurants and public transport, the company explained in a statement.
In a comment on Wirex’ choice to add ETH, the company’s founder Pavel Matveev said:
“Ethereum represents the second most valuable cryptocurrency after Bitcoin – and therefore the world’s biggest altcoin – making the development of the Ethereum Wallet a priority for Wirex.”
