La Liga, the organising body for Spanish club soccer’s top two divisions, has made its first move into the cryptocurrency and blockchain sector through a new partnership with GCOX.

The deal, which covers Asia and the Middle East, will gives the Singapore-headquartered company the right to provide exclusive products, services, social interactions and experiences for both fans and its business community.

As part of the arrangement, La Liga tokens will now be featured alongside other celebrity and brand tokens on the GCOX platform.

La Liga token holders will have opportunities to attend training sessions in Spain, as well as events hosted by the Spanish soccer league in Asia. They will also get VIP access to La Liga matches, in addition to the chance to attend meet and greet sessions with the league’s ambassadors.
