Tron’s vision of being a P2P entertainment platform is on the run, with its latest acquisition of BitTorrent and several updates. On 26th July, Justin Sun the Co-Founder of Tron compared Tron’s network to Ethereum and called it “80 times faster”.

Justin Sun tweeted:

“TRON is 80 times faster than Ethereum. With 14 years of experience, @BitTorrent is providing a world-class service to 100 million users in 138 countries. Add the two together and you get the largest and most advanced peer-to-peer network in the world! #TRONBT $TRX”

 

The acquisition rumors were circulating for months among the Tron enthusiasts. In early July, Cheddar released a video, wherein, BitTorrent’s Co-Founder announced to sell it for $140 million to TRON Foundation.
