Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini Trust Company has entered into a partnership to enable cryptocurrency holders trade through Itiviti’s NYFIX.

NYFIX is Itiviti’s FIX-based order routing network. The network connects buy-side, sell-side and trading venues in a stable and flexible order routing network.

More than 60 other companies use NYFIX platform to provide integrated trading solutions.

Gemini Technical Exchange Services head Drew Candres said: “We are excited to extend access to our platform to the NYFIX community which consists of an extensive network of asset management firms globally.

“We are focused on creating technology and services that help financial firms interact with crypto in ways similar to traditional asset class exchanges.

“Integrating with NYFIX helps our mutual customers seamlessly access the Gemini platform in a safe and familiar way.”
