Kylian Mbappe has reported the use of his name without consent online to the French police.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward has made a complaint of fraud in the advertisement of cryptocurrency.

This is according to L’Equipe, who say the player reported the use of his name and image without his permission on various online advertisement campaigns for cryptocurrency like bitcoin.

The 21-year-old was portrayed as recommending people invest in cryptocurrencies because it could make them a millionaire in the matter of months.

According to the Authority of Financial Markets, there were 1,100 complaints of this kind in 2018.
