Former U.S Congressman and three-time presidential candidate Ron Paul will be headlining the Litecoin 2019 Summit at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Joining him on the stage will be Litecoin creator Charlie Lee as well as Morgan Creek Digitial co-founder Anthony Pompliano.

The LTC Foundation announced the special keynote speaker in a Thursday tweet.

Paul has previously voiced his enthusiastic support for cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and Litecoin, most recently in a CNBC Squawk Box interview.

“I’m all for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology because I like competing currency…I’m for competition, and we’ll have to see what the market decides,” he told CNBC in July.

Squawk Alley also tweeted to confirm the former Congressman’s sentiments.

Last month, Paul and his Campaign for Liberty non-profit came out swinging against the Federal Reserve’s fresh anti-bitcoin “FedNow” payments system.

Paul’s views on cryptocurrency appear to have evolved…
