ZAGREB (Croatia), December 11 (SeeNews) – The Croatian Post said on Wednesday it has started offering cryptocurrency exchange services in 55 offices across the country, following the success of its pilot project in the Adriatic city of Zadar.

As of December 9, all local and foreign holders of the five most popular cryptocurrencies – Bitcoin, Ethereum, Stellar, Ripple and EOS are able to exchange them for Croatian kuna in several simple steps, Croatian Post said in a statement.

Its pilot project was launched in July in three postal offices in Zadar, with the aim of examining the market interest in this type of services.

In the past years, the number of cryptocurrency users is growing and they often plan their trips taking into account where they can exchange their digital money for domestic currency, the statement said. Thanks to the wide offering of this service, the Croatian cities will become even more attractive for a big number of guests, it added.
