Coinbase launches “Convert”

One of the leading crypto exchanges in the world, Coinbase has another good news for its users. The San Francisco-based exchange has now come out with a new feature called the ‘Convert’ which allows customers to convert one cryptocurrency into another. The exchange made this news public in its Medium blog on Monday.

As of now, customers can convert between Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Litecoin (LTC), 0x (ZRX), or Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Currently, this facility is available on Coinbase.com and on iOS and Android apps. The best part about this feature is that the conversions take place immediately and it takes much lesser time than if done via two different transactions.

The exchange adds that it is planning to roll out the ability to convert cryptocurrencies to customers in all 34 countries in which Coinbase offers native payment access.
