Brave browser is all set to add more features with regards to wallets. As per their official subreddit, Brave Browser has added support for native digital currency wallets to Brave Nightly, Brave Browser’s test + development variant.

With this latest update, other crypto wallets, especially MetaMask, can be utilized with Brave’s Basic Attention Token (BAT). All the transactions are first required to fulfill the KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements through Uphold. For those who came in late, Brave has recently partnered with Uphold wallet to let users withdraw BAT from its wallet Brave Rewards.

Brendan Eich, the CEO and co-founder of Brave, stated that KYC concerns top their list of priorities because of the regulatory concerns. He also clarified that the decision to add support for p2p wallets was not taken to undercut the regulators but to lead forward the community.
