Due to hyperinflation, Venezuela is currently facing some serious problems. The country is deep in debt and is also suffering economic pressure from the United States of America. Recently, a video has been shared on social media showing the charity efforts that have been made in the country with the help of Bitcoin [BTC].

The details were shared by a Twitter user known as Crypto For Venezuela. Reportedly, they purchased clothing and school supplies for underprivileged kids with crypto worth around $260. The effort reached 500 children and volunteers handed out the gifts dressed as Santa Claus.

Reportedly, all the supplies were bought at a department store in Venezuela, Traki that accepts cryptocurrencies. The user tweeted stating, “A couple weeks ago I shared a video where bought a ton school supplies and clothing to be donated to kids!” The Twitter user added, “Today was that day! We delivered all the school supplies and Clothing to the kids….
